COUSIN HARLEY RELEASE LATEST CD - "THE DUTCH SESSIONS" (October 2015)
Canada's rockabilly heroes Cousin Harley are back with their fifth release, The Dutch Sessions, recorded direct-to-tape in the village of Schipluiden in The Netherlands, over the course of three rainy days off on their 2013 European tour. Paul Pigat, Keith Picot, and Jesse Cahill take us on a rollicking romp through the repertoire from their live show, paying homage to many of the great artists who have inspired them over the years. It's stripped down, primitive and bristling with the energy and attitude for which this trio is famous. Gritty baritones, twanging guitars, slapping bass and kicking drums abound!
The Dutch Sessions is available worldwide physically and digitally from numerous online partners, iTunes, and CD Baby. And you can always pick one up at a Cousin Harley show or your local record store.!
And if you're anywhere near Vancouver on November 7, you won't want to miss the CD release party at the Fox Cabaret.

B'HIKI BOP - COUSIN HARLEY'S NEW ALBUM (April 2013)
Here it is — Cousin Harley's first all-instrumental recording! Band leader Paul Pigat and Cousin Harley fans alike have waited for B'Hiki Bop for a long, long time. Twelve original tracks (and one smokin' cover) bring classic western swing, hotrod country, surf, psychobilly, lounge, and westcoast jump blues all together. The CD is musically and sonically diverse, bristling with breaks that give each member of this powerhouse trio a chance to shine.
Paul's guitar, along with Keith Picot's doghouse bass and Jesse Cahill's drums, create a wide palate of tones by utilizing almost everything in their arsenal. From Gretschy twang to blistering Telecaster, not to mention a healthy dose of classic 8 string steel guitar and an unusual treatment of electric 12 string (à la western swing virtuoso Jimmy Bryant), this outing is unique in the Cousin Harley catalogue. The relentless B'Hiki Bop will keep listeners on the edge of their seats. Followers of Cousin Harley wouldn't have it any other way!

"Gretsch® could not possibly be more excited about welcoming Canadian guitar ace Paul Pigat as the newest Gretsch artist, clinician and family member.
Pigat wowed Gretsch fans at the four-day April 2009 Viva Las Vegas rockabilly event, and did so once again when he stopped by Gretsch guitars headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Thursday, June 4, to play a dazzlingly virtuoso lunchtime set that left listeners' jaws somewhere around their ankles."
